TL Home Services, LLC works with you from the initial concept and design through to the completed project. First, Tom will come to your home for the initial consultation. At this time, we'll discuss your thoughts along with the possibilities. By the end of the consultation, an estimate will be able to be given based on the consultation. There may be options that are dependent upon budgeting. These will also be addressed in the estimate. Your estimate will be a combination of your wants and needs.

Browse through magazines and books. Bookmark pages that show items of interest. You may not see a bathroom that completely thrills you, but you may find various things that you'd like incorporated into your remodel. We can even loan you some books to page through.

WANTS - If you could have anything in your dream bathroom, what would it be? A whirlpool? More open feel? Jets on all shower walls? Heated tile floor? Marble walls? Wants are things that you would love to have, but are not a 100% necessity for the daily use of your bathroom. They are, however, things that you'd really like to see incorporated into your remodel. Generally, the wants make the bathroom a personal space customized to your tastes.

NEEDS - These are things that you have to have. They're not part of your dream bathroom. Rather, they are things that you simply cannot do without if you're going to remodel your bathroom. It might be more storage space, better lighting for putting make-up on or an area to apply make-up. Maybe you simply absolutely hate how cramped your bathroom feels and looks.

It's important that you stay within your budget for any remodel project. We've developed a custom budgeting workbook to show you where your money is being spent and how you can adjust your purchases to stay in a specific budget.

Two versions of our custom cost tracking workbook is available, an Excel based worksheet or a PDF (printable) version. The Excel based version is interactive and allows you to input various pricing for your purchases. You'll see your total change in real time.

The final remodel cost will depend on your choices for items such as the vanity, tub and sink fixtures, toilet, bathtub or shower, and tile. Establishing cost tracking in the beginning keeps the job within your budget.

Customers have the option of shopping on their own at the local home improvement centers. In many cases, the selections available will meet the customer's wishes.

A price quote can be given based on you purchasing your own main items such as the fixtures and tile. TL Home Services, LLC can supply the labor and necessary installation materials to complete the remodel. Local pick up service is available for delivery of your fixtures to the job site.

Recommendations can also be made for local plumbing showrooms that we work with. Here you may find items not found in a typical home improvement store. You can also custom order products. The showroom associate can help you with your product selections.

When it comes to tile, you're covered. We offer the complete line of American Olean tile. The sample boards come right to your home so that you can see the tile in your light and keep them a few days to make sure you're choosing the right tile.

See a tile you love at your local home improvement center? No problem. Actually we work a lot with tiles purchased at Lowes or Home Depot. We'll even pick the tile up and deliver it to the job site.

The most fabulous design and products amount to nothing if the installation is not completed properly. Choose the wrong company and things can go south very quickly. Unfortunately, you may find out too late that your remodel is being subcontracted out.

TL Home Services, LLC is on the job each day, for a full day's work. Multiple remodel jobs are not run. Instead, all resources and efforts are concentrated on one remodel project at a time. This gives full devotion to your job. There is nothing more frustrating to a customer when a contractor does not show up on the job for days.

In the rare situations where we do bring in our subcontractors for a particular task, our subs are carefully chosen and are owner-operated. The relationship we have with our subcontractors have been ongoing for years. Even when the task is being performed, TL Home Services is still on the job site working along side the sub or being present in a supervisory roll.

There are cases where township permits are required for the remodel. All township permits are secured by TL Home Services, LLC on the customer's behalf.

All questions or reviews from the township building department are handled by the company. Tom is on site for every inspection, regardless if it's building, plumbing, electrical, or fire.

All contractors working in New Jersey are required to carry a minimum of $500,000 in business liability as required by the State of New Jersey. TL Home Services, LLC far exceeds this amount and will gladly provide you with a Certificate of Insurance upon request.
